Unity-Based Ultrasound-Guided Cannulation Training Simulator

Ultrasound training can be cost prohibitive due to the training equipment involved. Training phantoms and ultrasound machines are expensive which restrict availability to educators and trainees. This application was designed to help alleviate some of those cost and increase accessibility.

Ultrasound-guided cannulation is one of the fundamentals required to understand and use ultrasound correctly. This Unity-based application was made to train students to locate a cannula viewed under a synthetic ultrasound. It replicates a typical training scenario using a phantom and ultrasound machine with some additional features only software can offer.
